Online teaching is completely technology based. Those teachers who teaches online faces many problems. They struggled hard to engage their students in class, perform different activities that are technology based. Those which did not have such skilled based knowledge are dropped in their online teaching career. Those which do not have strong communication skills are not survive in this field because skill knowledge is essential in this field. Those which do not handle various technologies get frustrated are leaves the online teaching field.

Following disadvantages of online teaching are discussed

1. The basic requirement of Online teaching field is internet connection. The connection of internet must be high to teach online classes. This is because the class continue smoothly and there must be no disturbance in class due to slow speed of internet. It’s the big challenge and some of the online teachers do not handle this and faces difficulty in running smooth class.
2. Time management is also a disadvantage in Online teaching. There is barrier of time between students and online teacher. An online teacher teaches different students at a time and handle each and every student this is a big challenge that an online teacher faces each day. Sometime technical problem created and sometime internet issue found etc.
3. There is also time barrier of the students outside the country (The time barrier may be day or night barrier). It is also found that at one country there is night time and the other country have day time. So, the online teacher is also responsible to teach their students at night time. Because it’s the duty of online teacher and get paid of this. To overcome this difficulty, an online teacher gets extra charges to teach their students at night time.
   

 4-  physical teachers develop the interests of students by direct contact to keep them motivated. 

Online education does not provide such opportunity, and this is a huge challenge.

5-  In online teaching students learn in isolation and brainstorming does not takes place as much as in physical classes because students do not get such company that can get good friends who can be of significant help in building future career.

6-  In online education the workload is more than in physical education. A student has to solve the task by their own effort without any help.

7-  There are lots of scams online which pretend to be offering courses, yet they are not licensed.

8-   Another disadvantage refers to the fact that online classes cannot filled with thousands of students that are trying to join the discussions.

9-  In online teaching, most of times the communication with others is through email.
