A ship is also called an aircraft or spacecraft. ships, are used to ship our furniture. Parts for the space station are being shipped out there by spacecraft. Ships generally can remain at sea for longer periods of time than boats. A legal definition of ship is "a vessel that carries goods by sea."  In the Age of Sail, a full-rigged ship was a sailing vessel with at least three square-rigged masts and a full bowsprit; other types of vessel were also defined by their sailplane, e.g. baroque, brigantine, etc. 

History:

In the early days of boating, before ships had rudders on their centerlines, boats were controlled using a steering oar. Most sailors were right handed, so the steering oar was placed over or through the right side of the stern. A common notion is that a ship can carry a boat, but not vice versa.

 

Uses of the ships:

Used by large companies:

Ships are used by large companies around the world which don’t have immediate requirements of their products or  have a regular supply of their products from time to time. Each ship takes 5 months to travel and hence they are pretty slow. However, one can book a ship everyday and in five months, assuming you do this continuously, one will have a constant supply of merchandise every day. 

Ships are not useful for some products:

Ships are not useful for products which are instantly perishable or are of immediate use. However, that rarely happens, and even if the product is perishable such as milk, ships will transport milk powder and make it less perishable.

Ships carry cargoes:

Ships are used to carry cargoes from early times and evolved as an outstanding source compared to other mode of transport. Cost: Cost involved in shipping a cargo through ship is very nominal compared to aircraft which is 1o times costlier than ship. Weight: Ships can carry more weight compared to airplanes may be 1000 times the weight of cargo carried by airplanes. In the above pic you can see the amount of containers, the ship carry whereas each container was carried by one truck on road and I doubt the planes can carry 5 of these.

In the past ships are used as a means of transportation. These are considered as an important means of transport. Most of the people used ships to travel from one area to another area or from one country to another country. These are also large and small in sizes like other means of transportation. People usually carry their products to other country for trade through these means of transport. Now a days traders also used sips to transport their products from one country to another country. Water is very essential for living organisms. Water is the medium of life. It is the most essential compound of all the living organisms because it is the main ingredient of living a healthy life. Why water in different areas not used for drinking?

In all areas of the world, water is not present in pure form. Most of the countries have different concentration of water.

In the Countries that have oceans, much water is present at there but that water is used for cultivation or for industrial purposes and is not used for drinking. In those countries, water is not present in such a concentration that is required for the drinking of living organisms. The other compounds are also added to the oceanic water that causes a change in its concentration.

That water is also dangerous for lives that are present in water like fishes and amphibians etc. When the concentration of nitrogen, carbon, sodium, or other compounds increases than its normal concentration level at oceans then it becomes dangerous for life and also causes decays of organisms present in water. So this is also the reason for the decay of living organisms.

Human tissues contain 20% water in the bone cell. The concentration of water in the human bone should also maintain otherwise it also causes severe disease in the human or living organisms.
